  1. Stop misleading the people with this propaganda. The law doesn’t so much as mention the words “gay” or “homosexual” or any synonym. The law simply states that PRIVATE business owners should not be forced to do anything that doesn’t coincide with their religious beliefs. You liberals preach for “separation of church and state” but refuse to accept that that has to work both ways. Would I deny gays access to my business? No, but I would never force someone who doesn’t support that lifestyle to service those who subscribe to it. No point in drawing comparisons to black segregation, for that is purely hateful with no religious backing.

  2. Its a fine line, business’s should be allowed to deny services but..

Then again, go somewhere else to buy your shit, lolcapitalism.

  3. uhhh, wasnt the law Vetoed? So then isnt that title kind of wrong? So then didn’t you just jump to a conclusion? Get it together UTF.

  4. A hypothetical question, If some people from the Westboro Babtist church wanted to go into a gay bar,  why I do not know but maybe to look around and gather some intel, should the owners of the gay bar have the right to kick them out?

  5. People operating on their own private property aren’t entitled to serve anyone. Now if one is operating a business on his property, it would be in the best interest of one to serve whomever comes. If a businessman denies certain people service, he by default loses business. Anyone pissed-off can boycott. Sooner or later, the businessman either goes out of business or finally accepts business from the type of customer he was previously denying. It works every time. You don’t need a law to do what the market does by itself.

  6. Religious beliefs or fucking not, everyone has equal rights in this country. So if I create my own religion that other races cannot come into my business, it’s suddenly okay to deny their rights because of my shitty beliefs?

  7. Ok I have a question. If members of the Westboro baptist church were getting married and they walked into a photography studio and  wanted them to do the photography for there wedding ceremony and the photographer happened to be gay, should he/she have the right to refuse service? I think they should have the right to tell them to take a hike! And that would even be based on religious conviction but I would support there right to refuse service base on the concept of “I dont like you, go away!”

  8. I love the hypocrisy here. Homosexuals can bully and sue out of business cake and flower shops who don’t want to cater their weddings on religious grounds, but if a law says they can refuse service that is somehow a problem? You just aren’t logical.

  9. Why would you want to force a bigot to give you business in the first place?

I want businesses to put up signs saying “no gays allowed”, and I’ll be like “Good, now I know where *not* to spend my money”. The bigots have a disadvantage because the places that don’t discriminate get the most business.

But seriously, why would you want a gay marriage to have a cake baked by a bigot?

+Paul Alverson you’re saying that people will care more about personal lives than competitively – you’re wrong. How “open” a business is would add another trait to the competitiveness.

Competition is a trait of the free market, right? How could a free market exist if people don’t have the right to freely associate with whoever they want?

  10. well now i feel like its more about the lawmakers however if u did vote for this SCREW YOU however if your in arazona and u didnt vote for this good

  11. you’re just talking to a brick wall bro they won’t listen they never do

  12. As a Christian and a Texas resident, I would like to formally state my aversion to this law.
Why? Because it really isn’t our business what a gay coupled or individual does with a product.

  13. If anyone ever tried to throw me out based on their religion and that law I would tell them that the law is null and void because it violates the right to freedom of religion and freedom of choice. Then I would tell them that if they proceed to kick me out they had better get a very good lawyer.

  14. I love how we as a country adore pushing this “Freedom of Speech” amendment down everyone’s throats yet decisions like this straight out violates that amendment but no one cares. As long as its the gays that are being targeted no one cares right? Dammit it took forever to end discrimination against colored people in the earlier centuries and just when discrimination against gays is starting to make progress and gain momentum a backwards ass decision like this brings it to a halt for the time being. The only people who made this decision are bunch of ignorant fucks and bible patters who refuse to move forward away from this stupid twentieth century discrimination bullshit. Lets hope that 20 years from now people like this are left in the dust. To anyone who reads the bible I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that, I’m just talking about the ones who are still to ignorant to leave old ways behind.

  15. I wonder how they would feel if people started saying they don’t want to christians in there stores..

  16. Their business their rules. What’s the problem? I thought you people didn’t want to legislate morality?

  17. what’s funny is the same people supporting this would be so upset call for w boycott day how it’s not S right if they got refuse service

  18. What happens when they have a gay person who doesn’t look or act effeminate?
